The Stavanger 2245GR is a low bollard light, 50 cm tall: a smooth cylinder 20 cm in diameter in graphite (RAL 7016), topped with a ring of satin PMMA and a flat cap. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium.
How much light it gives, and what kind
The integrated LED module produces 2058 lm, and 565 lm leaves the luminaire at a power draw of 13.6 W. The satin diffuser spreads light all the way round, so the bollard lights the surface around it on every side; the manufacturer states that 39.41% of the flux (ULOR) goes upwards.
4000 K is neutral white light – cooler than a traditional bulb. A CRI of 80 is enough for lighting a path or a driveway. The luminaire is phase-dimmable with a trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer, bought separately. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service, and the manufacturer states an L80 lifetime of more than 102,000 h.
Installation and accessories
The bollard is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a 145 mm circle. Parts for fixing it into the ground are not included: the manufacturer sells a ground anchor (1231), a concrete-in anchor (1230), a concrete foundation adapter (1232) and a mounting adapter (3087) separately, so the choice depends on whether the bollard stands in a lawn or on concrete.
The terminals take conductors up to 2×4 mm² and allow looping through, so several bollards can run on one line. The cable must have a round sheath 8–17 mm in diameter. Protection class II means no earth conductor is needed. The luminaire weighs 6.62 kg.
Outdoor durability
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the bollard can stand outdoors without cover. IK08 is the housing's impact rating, for example against an accidental knock. The gasket is silicone and the cable gland nylon.
