Candellux PLAYA 36-50533 pendant light, black with clear glass, 17 W LED 3000 K, 97 cm

Candellux PLAYA 36-50533 is a horizontal pendant with six clear glass shades arranged along a black structure. Larger shades alternate with smaller ones, and the glass has a visible rippled texture. Rather than appearing as a continuous light strip, the pendant presents a sequence of individual glass forms, which remain part of its appearance when the light is switched off.

Planning for a 97 cm pendant

The fitting is 97 cm wide and 13 cm deep, with a stated overall height of 200 cm. Compare those measurements with your table or kitchen island and the available space below the ceiling. Its six light points follow one horizontal axis, making the shape relevant to a long dining table or the dining area of an open-plan living room.

The manufacturer confirms that the suspension height is adjustable. You can therefore plan its position around the room and furniture rather than assuming it must hang at the full stated height. Allow for the glass body and ceiling canopy as well as the suspension when checking the space above the tabletop.

Built-in warm-white light

The integrated LED sources are included and non-replaceable. Their total power is 17 W, so this version does not require six separately purchased socketed bulbs. The 3000 K colour temperature denotes warm white. Its stated output of 1020 lumens refers to the fitting, not to each of the six shades.

When planning illumination for the entire room, consider the room size and any other lighting already present. The declared LED lifetime is 20,000 hours. This describes the light source and should not be read as a fixed number of maintenance-free years regardless of daily use.

Clear glass against black metal

The steel suspension and black structural elements contrast with the transparent shades. Their rippled surfaces provide a visible detail at close range within a contemporary dining scheme. The table-oriented format also suits dining areas in hotels or restaurants. In this variant, clear refers to the glass; the supporting structure is black, not transparent.
