Candellux Playa 34-50502 LED pendant light, 4 glass globes, black, 62 cm

Candellux Playa 34-50502 is a horizontal pendant light with four clear glass globes arranged along a black bar. The globes differ in size rather than forming a row of identical shades. A steel suspension and a frame visible through the glass give this version its distinct, modern outline.

Plan around the whole pendant

The fitting is 62 cm wide and 18 cm deep. Compare both measurements with the table beneath it: the width describes the complete horizontal arrangement, not the diameter of an individual globe. The manufacturer's drawing identifies the larger globe as 18 cm in diameter and the smaller ones as 12 cm. Clear glass leaves the black structural line on view instead of enclosing it behind an opaque shade.

The manufacturer confirms adjustable suspension height and specifies an overall height of 200 cm. Relate that measurement to your ceiling height and table position when planning installation. This is a suspended fitting rather than a flush ceiling light, so the space occupied by the globes themselves also matters when choosing the hanging position.

Four integrated LED lighting points

The LED sources are built in and included, with no separate bulbs to select. Total power is 12 W and the stated light output is 720 lm. A colour temperature of 3000 K provides warm-white light. These are whole-fitting values, not figures to multiply again by the four visible lighting points.

The integrated LEDs are not standard screw-in replacement bulbs. Light colour is therefore part of this particular fitting rather than something chosen through a separate bulb purchase. Use the stated output as part of the wider lighting plan; the number of glass globes alone does not establish how brightly a room will be lit.

A glass-and-black composition for living areas

Playa's elongated form suits a dining table or a table within a shared living and dining space. Rounded glass against a straight supporting bar works with modern and modernist interiors. The shades are transparent, but the frame is not: its black horizontal line remains a visible part of the design, an important distinction when coordinating the pendant with surrounding furnishings.
