FOSKAL WHITE 462 is a white pendant by Keter Lighting with three metal wire shades shaped as geometric solids. The shades hang in a cascade from white cords at different heights below a round ceiling canopy, and the bulb in each one stays on show.
Size and where to hang it
The fitting takes up 32 × 32 cm in plan and measures 120 cm from the ceiling to the lowest shade. Compare that with your ceiling height: over a table the bottom edge of a shade should hang 70–80 cm above the top, and in a hallway or living room you need to keep clear headroom beneath it.
Bulbs and light
The lamp has three E27 lampholders, and the manufacturer allows a bulb of up to 60 W in each. No bulbs are included, so three E27 bulbs need to be bought separately. The wire shades do not hide the bulbs, so their shape and colour become part of the look — decorative bulbs with a visible filament bring out the geometry of the cages. The fitting has no dimmer of its own: whether it dims depends on bulbs marked as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit.
IP20 means the lamp is intended for dry interiors only.
Style and the Foskal series
The metal wire cages and exposed lampholders give the lamp a modern, slightly loft-style character. The manufacturer suggests it for living rooms, kitchens, hallways and restaurants. In the Foskal series Keter Lighting also makes black, gold and silver versions, lamps with one, two and five shades, and wall lights and spotlights of the same form.
