FOSKAL BLACK/GOLD is a wall light with two open shades of black wire, shaped like a cut stone. A curved arm runs out of a round wall plate: one lampholder sits right at the base, the second at the end of the arm. Gold rings wrap the holders — the only part that is not black.
How big it is and where it goes
The fitting takes 46 cm of wall width, stands 24 cm out from the wall and measures 30 cm high. Those 24 cm are the figure to compare with the width of a walkway or the distance to a piece of furniture, because the shades project further than a flat wall light would.
The wall plate is round and covers a standard installation box. The manufacturer states 0.9 kg gross, packaging included, so the fixing carries almost nothing.
Which bulbs to buy
The fitting has two E27 sockets rated at a maximum of 60 W each and comes with no lamps, so colour and brightness are yours to choose. Two bulbs together light a whole zone rather than a single pool.
The shade is open: the bulb stays fully visible, and its shape and glass colour become part of how the fitting looks. The wire frame hides nothing, so light goes in every direction and the bars draw a net of shadows on wall and ceiling.
Build, and the rooms it is meant for
Frame and shades are metal: the frame in black and gold, the shades in black. The fitting belongs to the FOSKAL range, where the same wire also appears as pendants and ceiling lights, so the two can be combined in one room.
The manufacturer intends the FOSKAL range for the living room, kitchen, hallway and hospitality spaces, and describes its style as modern. The lamps are made in Poland.
