Sigma Cyber 2 – a twin ceiling light with open wire shades
The round Cyber 2, manufacturer code 32355, brings together two black cage shades and a circular ceiling plate in an oak-effect finish. The shades are deliberately different in size and sit side by side, giving the fitting an informal, asymmetric outline rather than a rigidly matched pair. Fine rods of lacquered steel curve around the exposed bulbs, while the wood-grain surface of the laminated HDF introduces warmth beside the black metal. The result sits comfortably between Scandinavian restraint and a more graphic, loft-inspired look.
Two separate lamp holders take replaceable E27 bulbs. Bulbs are not supplied, allowing their output, colour temperature and appearance to be selected for the room. Clear lamps will make the curved cage structure more prominent, whereas opal bulbs will provide a quieter visual centre. Because there is no solid shade, light can pass through the spaces between the rods. In the illuminated product image, this open construction creates a distinctive pattern of lines across the ceiling and nearby wall. The strength of that effect will vary with the bulbs and the colour and texture of surrounding surfaces.
Size and placement
The fitting measures 37 cm wide, 33 cm deep and 24 cm high. Its two shades have different heights of 16 and 21 cm, reinforcing the stepped composition. Cyber 2 therefore offers more visual movement than a single central ceiling light while retaining a relatively shallow profile. It can work over a compact dining zone, in a living room, bedroom or hallway. The exposed design also keeps both bulbs accessible for replacement and makes their shape a visible part of the finished installation.
