CustomForm's COBEN HANGMAN 1 is a white pendant with a single shade that flares towards its open lower edge. Two lengths of suspension meet above the fitting, giving it a distinctive V-shaped outline rather than the straight drop of a conventional single-cable pendant.
Allow space for the suspension
The diameter is 18 cm and the manufacturer lists a height of 280 cm. Consider the space occupied by the suspension as well as the shade when planning its position. The manufacturer expressly confirms adjustability; the 280 cm measurement should not be read as the height of the shade alone.
The bulb remains visible beneath the open shade. Its shape therefore contributes to the appearance of the fitting, particularly when viewed from below.
Choose an E27 bulb separately
The fitting takes one E27 bulb rated at no more than 60 W. A bulb is not supplied. Brightness and light colour are consequently choices to make when buying the light source, rather than characteristics determined by the white finish of the pendant.
An industrial outline for interiors
The bell-shaped shade and exposed suspension suit industrial and minimalist interiors. White runs across both the visible body and cables. The manufacturer identifies homes, offices, architectural studios and advertising agencies as possible settings. Use the single fitting as a selected lighting accent without assuming that one small pendant will provide adequate illumination for an entire room.
