Elstead Lars Outdoor LED Wall Light – Black, 14 W, 3000 K

Elstead Lars is a black outdoor LED wall light with a cast-aluminium body and a white polycarbonate cover. A broad black band divides the front into two pale sections, while rounded corners give the rectangular outline a softer edge.

A shallow fitting beside doors and on façades

The body measures 24 cm high and 13 cm wide, with a projection of 5 cm from the wall. Compare those measurements with the available mounting area beside an entrance, on a terrace wall or on a balcony. Its shallow profile limits how far it projects into the space, but does not by itself guarantee adequate passage width or clearance for an opening door.

The smooth front, black-and-white contrast and absence of decorative arms support a modern, minimalist setting. Lars is an option for simple architectural lines where a fitting close to the wall is preferred to a projecting lantern. The rounded outline remains a distinct detail rather than an ornamental frame.

Warm-white LED included, with no dimming

The integrated 14 W LED source is included, so there is no separate bulb to choose or purchase. Its 3000 K colour temperature gives warm-white light. Elstead specifies 1250 lm for the LED; that figure alone does not establish the area that one fitting will adequately illuminate.

The manufacturer's illuminated photograph shows light spreading onto the wall around both white sections. Lars is not dimmable. If adjustable brightness is part of your lighting plan, this particular fitting will not meet that requirement. The two visible cover sections should not be mistaken for two separate replaceable bulbs.

Outdoor installation and electrical connection

Elstead designates Lars for exterior use. Its IP65 rating means dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets, not suitability for immersion. It can be considered for façade or terrace lighting, including outdoor entrances to hotels and restaurants, with the number and position of fittings chosen for the actual space.

The supply is 220–240 V at 50 Hz. Lars is a Class I fitting and requires a protective-earth connection. Class I should not be confused with double insulation when planning the wiring.
