Endon Kew KEW-TLGO is a table lamp with a teardrop-shaped base in gold-tinted glass. Its dimpled surface contrasts with chrome-plated metalwork and an oval faux-silk fabric shade. The manufacturer calls the shade colour mink: a muted neutral tone, distinct from the gold tint in the glass.

Check both dimensions of the oval shade

The complete lamp measures 58.5 cm high, 40 cm wide and 20 cm deep. Those separate width and depth measurements matter when choosing a console or chest of drawers. The oval shade needs less front-to-back space than a circular shade measuring 40 cm across, but it still occupies the full width. Compare both dimensions with your furniture and the available distance from the wall.

This is a lamp for a furniture surface, not a tall floor-standing fitting. It can provide supplementary lighting in a living room or bedroom where the chosen surface accommodates the complete lamp. Gold-tinted glass and chrome details suit modern and glamour interiors, while the fabric shade gives the design a separate textile element.

Choose the bulb separately

Kew has one E27 socket. The manufacturer specifies a 10 W LED bulb, which is not supplied. Purchase a compatible bulb separately and also observe the rating label on the fitting. Brightness and light colour depend on that choice; a photograph of the illuminated shade does not establish a fixed colour temperature or lumen output.

An inline on/off switch sits on the 1.5 m clear cable. When deciding where to place the lamp, check the distance to the socket and whether the switch will remain accessible.

Assembly and care

The instructions require a stable, flat surface and securing the shade with its ring before connecting the lamp. It is for indoor use, but not for a bathroom. Switch off, unplug and allow 10 minutes to cool before changing the bulb or cleaning. The manufacturer specifies a dry cloth only for cleaning.
