Endon Orta 9-Light Brass Pendant Lamp 62cm

Endon Orta 70575 is a nine-light Sputnik chandelier with a radial arrangement of metal rods around a central body. The lamp holders sit among the rods rather than beneath a shared shade. Steel and aluminium alloy construction is finished with satin brass plating, giving the open structure a gold-toned appearance associated with 1970s lighting design.

Allow for the full 62 cm diameter

The overall drop can be set between 52 and 190 cm during installation. A 1.5 metre chain supports the body, with a clear cable running alongside it. Shortening involves removing the required chain links and adjusting the cable as described in the instructions, before mounting and connecting the fitting. It is not a mechanism for raising and lowering the chandelier in daily use.

For a living room, bedroom or position above a dining table, compare the complete rod span with the furniture below. Away from the table footprint, check that the selected drop leaves adequate passage clearance. Even at its shortest setting, Orta is a hanging fitting rather than a flush ceiling light. The starburst outline suits retro or contemporary schemes where the fixture itself remains visibly part of the composition.

Choose nine G9 LED lamps separately

The fitting requires nine G9 LED lamps, each rated at no more than 3 W. Lamps are not included. Their colour temperature and output determine the resulting light, so photographs showing illuminated bulbs do not establish a fixed brightness for the chandelier.

Dimming requires dimmable lamps and a dimmer compatible with them. A G9 base on its own does not mean a particular lamp can be dimmed. Match the lamp selection to the intended control rather than assuming every G9 LED will behave identically.

Assembly and care of the rod structure

The decorative rods require assembly in the sequence shown in the manual. The manufacturer specifies domestic ceiling use and excludes bathroom installation. Consult a qualified electrician if unsure about the connection. Clean only with a dry cloth, without liquid or abrasive cleaners, and allow ten minutes for cooling before cleaning or replacing lamps.
