Savings are for using a conventional LED luminaire without a motion sensor of the same wattage for an average of 10 hours of continuous illumination per day. By comparison, a STEINEL LED luminaire with a motion sensor lights up at night for an average of only 2 hours, since it only turns on when motion is detected.
