Gea Luce GES1061 outdoor wall light, anthracite grey, GU10, IP54

Gea Luce GES1061 is an anthracite-grey outdoor wall light with a cylindrical body and a rectangular wall base. Its aluminium housing has a single lower light opening covered by tempered glass, with provision for one GU10 bulb.

A small cylinder on the wall

The body is 11.5 cm high and 6.4 cm in diameter, while the overall projection is 9.5 cm. Compare these measurements with the intended wall position, particularly beside a door frame or near a corner. The manufacturer's drawing gives the mounting base as 5 cm wide and 6.9 cm high.

The top is closed and the glazed opening is underneath, distinguishing this fitting from wall lights with two opposing light outlets. Its plain cylinder, without ornamental arms, supports a modern or minimalist exterior scheme. The anthracite-grey finish keeps attention on the housing's geometry rather than introducing a contrasting decorative element.

Choose the bulb for the required light

The GU10 holder takes one bulb rated at no more than 35 W. This is a bulb power limit, not a statement of the fitting's brightness. Check the chosen bulb's colour temperature, luminous flux and beam angle when planning the light. The lower opening allows the wall or the space below the fitting to be considered in that plan.

The manufacturer specifies outdoor wall installation. GES1061 can be considered for a façade, terrace or balcony where a suitable mounting surface and electrical connection are available. Its IP54 rating provides limited protection against dust ingress and protection against splashing water; it does not allow immersion.

Connection and cleaning

The fitting operates on 220–240 V AC and is electrical protection class I. The assembly instructions show a protective-earth connection and require installation by qualified personnel. Disconnect the mains supply before working on the light.

For cleaning, the manufacturer recommends a damp cloth with mild detergent in lukewarm water, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Keep water and detergent away from cables and electrical components.
