Gea Luce GES2223 brown garden spike spotlight 2×GU10 IP65

Gea Luce GES2223 is a brown garden spotlight with two cylindrical heads sharing a single upright body. The aluminium structure has clear glass covers and a ground spike for installation in soil. GES2223 identifies the brown version; the manufacturer's anthracite counterpart is GES2222.

Two replaceable GU10 light sources

The fitting accepts two GU10 lamps rated at a maximum of 35 W each. This is a limit for the lamps fitted, not a fixed energy consumption figure or the rating of a built-in LED module. Brightness, colour temperature and beam angle depend on the selected lamps, so choose these to suit the intended lighting effect.

Two heads provide two directed accents from one installation point. The manufacturer's drawing specifies a rotation range of 0–350°, which is useful when planning the orientation towards planting or a section of façade. This twin spotlight arrangement should not be confused with a flat floodlight intended to illuminate a large area evenly.

Allow for the spike and cable

The section above the ground spike measures 230 mm in height, while the spike itself is 170 mm long. The cylindrical heads are 55 mm in diameter and 100 mm long. Compare these dimensions with nearby planting and the intended path of the light before choosing a position. The spike length is not extra height above ground.

A 100 cm connection cable means the electrical connection needs to be planned within reach of the fitting. Designed for outdoor installation, it has an IP65 rating and a 220–240 V supply. The assembly instructions require qualified personnel for installation and the mains power to be switched off before work begins.

Brown cylinders for landscape accents

The plain tubular forms and absence of ornament support a modern, minimalist style. Suitable uses include directed accents in gardens, hotel grounds and parks, including plants or façades illuminated from ground level. For cleaning, the manufacturer recommends a damp cloth with mild detergent followed by gentle drying. Keep water and detergent away from electrical components rather than treating the outdoor protection rating as permission to wash the connection.
