The Gea Luce GFA1091N is a miniature recessed spotlight with a satin-black front and an aluminium body. Its circular rim surrounds a recessed anti-glare optic, while the visible face measures just 35 mm in diameter. An integrated LED module is supplied with the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to select for this version.
A small cut-out with a separate power supply
The installation drawing specifies a 32 mm cut-out and a fitting height of 50 mm. Check both before preparing the ceiling: the visible rim diameter is not the required hole size. Spring clips on either side of the body hold the spotlight in the opening.
The power supply is included but is not built into the fitting. Ceiling planning therefore needs to allow space for this separate component as well as the spotlight itself. The specified supply is 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. The installation instructions require qualified personnel and state that mains power must be disconnected before work begins.
Neutral-white light in a 38° beam
The 3 W LED module provides 250 lm at 4000 K. Its 38° beam is suited to local supplementary illumination rather than a wide spread from a single fitting. In a living room, bedroom, hallway or study, it can form an additional lighting point; the number and spacing of fittings need to be planned for the room. This model is not dimmable and operates by switching on and off.
Finish and care
The satin-black face and restrained circular outline suit modern and minimalist interiors. The manufacturer specifies a CRI above 80, a 50,000-hour lifespan and a three-year warranty. For cleaning, the instructions recommend a damp cloth with a neutral detergent, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Water and detergent must not reach cables or electrical components.
