GES961 White Gea Luce Outdoor Wall Sconce, IP65

The GES961 is a Gea Luce outdoor wall light with a simple rectangular body, made from die-cast aluminum in a white finish. A narrow polycarbonate diffuser covers the front edge, with an integrated LED module behind it.

Size and mounting on an outdoor wall

The body measures 180 × 75 × 65 mm and the fixture weighs 0.63 kg — a flat, compact shape that doesn't project far from the façade. It's designed for mounting on exterior walls and runs on 220–240 V mains power. Protection class I means the installation needs an earth conductor.

How much light it gives, and what kind

The integrated 10 W LED module produces a luminous flux of 451 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white with no strong yellow or blue cast. A 120° beam angle spreads the light wider than a narrow spot, and a colour rendering index above 80 keeps illuminated surfaces looking natural. The manufacturer rates the source at 25,000 hours, but the LED module can't be replaced — it's permanently built into the fixture. In practice, once the source reaches the end of its rated life, the whole fixture needs replacing rather than just a bulb. The light is switch-only; it isn't dimmable.

Build and weather resistance

The body is cast aluminum with a white finish, and the front is covered by a polycarbonate diffuser. An IP65 rating means dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets from any direction, so the sconce can be mounted somewhere directly exposed to rain.
