STEINEL HF 360-2 COM1 ceiling-mounted presence detector

The STEINEL HF 360-2 COM1 from the Control PRO 2 range is a presence detector for indoor, ceiling-mounted installation. Variant ST079420 uses 5.8 GHz high-frequency sensing together with mixed-light measurement. Detection covers 360°, with both radial and tangential reach of up to 12 m, equivalent to up to 113 m². The manufacturer states that the sensor can detect movement through glass, wood and lightweight partition walls. The final installation layout should nevertheless be planned for the individual room and its construction.

Installation data and control

The COM1 version is designed for ceiling mounting and a 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz supply. Its white RAL 9003 plastic housing measures 103 × 103 × 69 mm and is rated IP20. The recommended mounting height is 2.5–4 m, with 4 m as the maximum. Settings can be configured via Bluetooth. Available adjustments include a 2–1000 lx twilight threshold, a 30-second to 30-minute switch-off delay and IQ mode.

For practical interior zones

HF 360-2 COM1 is intended for functional indoor areas such as corridors, stairwells, offices, toilets and washrooms. It is not specified for outdoor use. Semi-automatic and fully automatic operation, presence function, lighting scenes and manual ON or ON/OFF are provided. Bluetooth supports master/master and master/slave networking. The COM1 switching output is rated for resistive loads up to 2000 W; confirm compatibility with the connected load in STEINEL’s complete technical documentation before installation.
