Italux Tanto WH white recessed LED ceiling light 34 W 3000 K RA-721R/WU-WW/12

Italux Tanto WH is a white recessed LED ceiling light with a circular trim and a movable reflector head. Its aluminium construction combines a white outer ring with a dark surround around the reflector. The RA-721R/WU-WW/12 version operates at 34 W and provides light at 3000 K.

Check the ceiling space before cutting

The outside diameter is 18.8 cm, while the required mounting cut-out is 17.5 cm in diameter. These measurements serve different purposes: one describes the visible trim, the other the opening needed for the recessed body. The 19.4 cm height also needs to be considered when checking the space above the ceiling surface. Compare all three dimensions with the proposed ceiling construction before preparing the opening. The width of the visible ring alone does not establish whether the body will fit.

Set the direction of the reflector

The manufacturer's drawing shows up to 90° of tilt and 360° of rotation. This lets you change the direction of the head relative to the trim rather than relying solely on the mounting position. It is useful when directing light towards a section of wall, a display or a particular interior feature. For a living room, kitchen, entrance hall or corridor, identify the intended target during planning. One directional fitting should not automatically be treated as uniform lighting for the whole room.

Built-in LED, without dimming

Italux specifies 3100 lm and warm-white light at 3000 K. The LED source forms part of the fitting; this is not a model requiring a separately selected GU10 bulb. Supply voltage is 220–240 V. This version is not dimmable, so repositioning the head changes the direction of the light, not its brightness. Keep that distinction in mind when choosing the installation's controls.

A white trim with a technical appearance

The plain circular ring suits modern and minimalist ceilings. The exposed reflector retains a technical appearance rather than presenting a continuous luminous disc. Tanto can also provide directed light for merchandise displays or selected hotel areas. Choose the number and positions of fittings according to the intended lighting result.
