LEA is a table lamp by the Polish brand Keter Lighting, built entirely from plywood with a fabric shade. It stands 34 cm tall on a 30.5 × 30.5 cm footprint and takes one E27 source up to 60 W.
Plywood instead of metal
The frame is cut from plywood and painted white — a light material, warm to the touch and quite unlike the lacquered steel most lamps at this price are made of. A wooden frame does not heat up from the source and does not buzz; at this weight the lamp moves around the flat effortlessly. White frame and white fabric give one calm, uniform mass that does not compete with the rest of the room.
A fabric shade means diffused light, not a spot
Lampshade fabric lets some light through the sides and scatters it instead of throwing a sharp pool. That settles what the lamp is for: LEA is a mood light — for a bedside table, a chest of drawers, a windowsill, a desk as accompanying light. For reading fine print or desk work, add a directional fitting; LEA supplies the background, not the working beam.
E27 up to 60 W, the bulb is your choice
The socket is a standard E27 with a 60 W ceiling and no bulb included. The limit applies to power drawn, so in practice an 8–10 W LED will fit and give as much light as a 60–100 W incandescent once did. Light colour is entirely your pick: 2700 K brings out the warm tone of the plywood, 4000 K whitens the whole lamp. There is no dimmer built in — if brightness must be adjustable, a dimmable bulb plus a dimmer in the circuit has to provide it.
Where to put it
An IP20 rating means dry interiors only — not a terrace, not a bathroom splash zone. The 30.5 × 30.5 cm footprint asks for some room: on a narrow bedside table it will take up most of the top, on a dresser or a shelf unit it sits comfortably. Supply is ordinary 230 V through a mains lead.
