An LED bulb shaped as a small ball of clear glass, with an E14 cap. The glowing COG filaments show through the glass — in a fitting with an exposed lamp or a clear shade, they are the visible part of the light.
How much light it gives
Drawing 6 W, the bulb gives 850 lm — more than an old 60 W incandescent, and the manufacturer declares a 62 W equivalent. Efficacy is 142 lm/W, several times the light per watt of a traditional bulb. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light, close to a classic incandescent.
A 300° beam angle means the light spreads in almost every direction, upwards and sideways too — in a shade open at the bottom it will also light the ceiling and walls.
Where it fits and what it does not support
The bulb is 45 mm in diameter and 78 mm tall including the cap — compare those figures with the space inside your shade or wall light. It is not dimmable: a circuit with a dimmer needs a lamp marked as dimmable. The manufacturer intends it for indoor use at −20 to +40 °C on 230 V.
Rated life is 17,000 hours and 15,000 switching cycles — at three hours a day that is more than fifteen years of use. Energy class D.
