LED Strip Kluś K-27-1220-24 9.6 W/m 2700K 756 lm/m CRI 90 24V IP20

The Kluś K-27-1220-24 is an LED strip 8 mm wide and 2.5 mm thick, running on 24 V DC. Each metre carries 120 LEDs on an 8.3 mm pitch, which at 9.6 W/m yields 756 lm/m in warm white 2700 K.

LED density and visible dots

An 8.3 mm pitch is the density at which, inside a profile with an opal cover, the line of light merges into a continuous band instead of breaking into visible dots. That matters anywhere the strip is seen close up — under kitchen cabinets, in recesses, in skirting channels. The beam angle is 120°, so the strip washes wide rather than throwing a narrow beam.

Colour fidelity and repeatability

A colour rendering index of CRI 90 puts this strip above the usual decorative strips at CRI 80 — wood, fabric and skin tones keep their natural colour. Just as important are the 3-step MacAdam ellipse and single binning: lengths from the same production run emit the same shade of white, so placed side by side they do not visibly differ. That figure is what decides how a long continuous run of light actually looks.

Cutting, feeding and installation

The strip cuts every 50 mm, with 6 LEDs per section. Up to 10 m can be run from a single feed point — longer runs need feeding from both ends or splitting into separate circuits, otherwise the far end dims noticeably. The strip is dimmable at the driver or controller. The operating range is −20 °C to +60 °C, and IP20 places it in dry interiors; an aluminium profile is worth using both to carry heat away and to finish the edge. The manufacturer gives an 84-month warranty and lists a UL certificate alongside CE and UKCA.
