The 3Y basic series are LED strips embedded on a 2oz copper PCB substrate. They are covered by a 3-year warranty period. The LED tape comes with double-sided Blue Tape mounting tape.

Warm white color

LED strips 24V - lower voltage drops

Thanks to the voltage of 24V, we can connect up to twice as long sections of LED tape when connecting in series than is the case with 12V LED tapes. This is due to lower power consumption. Lower current consumption, also will translate into a smaller cross-section of wires needed for installation, making it much easier to hide them during installation.

300 LED 5630 SMD tape

5630 are larger size LEDs than the most common in LED tapes. They allow greater light emission than 3528 and 2835 LEDs, but this is associated with increased power consumption.
This is ideal for functional lighting, such as. kitchen workspace.
The density of the tape is the number of LEDs on the tape. On high-density tapes there is no phenomenon of beads, i.e. visible points of light. The higher the density of the LED strip, the more uniform the light is. Tapes with a density of 60 LEDs per meter allow for a uniform line of light. To ensure that the light points are not visible, it is recommended to use an LED profile along with a suitable lampshade.

IP20 LED strip

IP20-rated LED strips are covered with a thin protective layer, which protects them from small contaminants. However, they do not have any additional protection, so they are not recommended in applications where increased moisture resistance is required.

Requires installation of a power supply

LED strip requires 24V low DC power supply. For the tape to be powered from the mains, it is necessary to install a power supply. The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the tape. The first is the tension. It is important that the output voltage of the power supply is the same as the voltage of the LED strip. The power supply must be properly selected due to the power of the tape. The power referred to 1 meter should be multiplied times the length of the tape in meters. It's worth adding a 10% power reserve. Based on the mounting location, you can choose a slim power supply, a waterproof hermetic power supply or a furniture power supply.
