IP65HS LED strips are covered with heat-shrinkable film, which under the influence of temperature tightly covers the LED strip. Such a cover allows for increased waterproofing while maintaining high light performance. Increased waterproofing is achieved through the use of a thin band layer, which usually translates into higher lumen output and greater color uniformity than analogous IP65 tapes.

Requires installation of power supply

LED strip requires a low 12V DC power supply. For the tape to be powered from the mains, it is necessary to install a power supply. The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the tape. The first is the tension. It is important that the output voltage of the power supply is the same as the voltage of the LED strip. The power supply must be properly selected due to the power of the tape. The power referred to 1 meter should be multiplied times the length of the tape in meters. It's worth adding a 10% power reserve. Based on the mounting location, you can choose a slim power supply, a waterproof hermetic power supply or a furniture power supply.
