When choosing an LED strip, it is worth paying attention to the CRI parameter, the value of which determines how close the light color is to natural daylight. It affects the way our eyesight perceives illuminated objects. The value of the RA parameter is measured in the range from 0 to 100, where the maximum result reproduces the effect of daylight. This is the most desirable value. LED strips with a parameter above CRI>80 allow natural color reproduction on the illuminated objects.
24V
Longer light installations do not have to be associated with voltage drops. Choosing 24V LED strips means you can use longer lengths of LED tape. This is due to the lower power consumption, compared to a 12V installation. It also allows the use of smaller cross-sections of wires needed for installation, making them easier to hide.
IP20
IP20-rated tapes are recommended for use in areas where moisture and heavy pollution are not present. The absence of a silicone shield, found in IP65 tapes, makes the tape better at dissipating heat, which increases its life.
