Lighting Pole NORLYS Asker Pole Pro 5202GR graphite LED 19.5 W 3000 K 3.5 m

Asker Pole Pro 5202GR is a complete 350 cm LED lighting pole: a straight, rectangular extruded-aluminium profile 110 mm wide, ending in a 39 cm horizontal head that shines downwards through a flat lens. The pole and head are powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016). The LED module and driver are built in, so no lamp is needed.

Dimensions, foundation and wiring

The pole comes in two segments (the lower one 230 cm long), so it ships in a 232.5 × 41 × 41.5 cm carton of 17.05 kg gross; the luminaire weighs 11 kg. With the head, the pole takes up a 24 × 48.5 cm footprint. It is fixed on four M14 studs at 180 × 180 mm spacing, matching a B 50 concrete foundation. Not included: the mounting adapter 1259GA0009, the ground anchor 180GA0009 and the concrete-in anchor 3091GA0009 are sold separately.

The terminals take up to 3 × 4 mm² and allow loop-through wiring, so several poles can share one supply line. The cable entry accepts round cable of ø8–12 mm or ø10–13.6 mm. The luminaire is protection class I and must be connected to a protective earth; installation is for a qualified electrician.

What light it gives

The Ledil VSM lens has an IESNA Type V distribution – symmetrical and wide – so the light spreads evenly all around the pole. The luminaire draws 19.5 W and delivers 2660 lm, i.e. 136.4 lm/W. 3000 K is a warm white, and CRI 70 is typical for area lighting. Only 1% of the flux goes upwards (ULOR 1%, BUG rating B2-U2-G1), so practically all the light falls on the ground. The pole can be dimmed with a phase dimmer, either trailing-edge or leading-edge.

Durability, service and intended use

The luminaire is rated IP65 and the optical assembly – LED module and lens – IP67, so it stands unprotected in rain and snow. Impact resistance IK10 is the top class on that scale, useful where the pole is within reach of passers-by. It operates from −20 to +45 °C. The Philips Fortimo FastFlex module keeps at least 90% of its initial flux after 100,000 h (L90B10) and the driver is rated for 100,000 h; only a professional service replaces the source and control gear.

Norlys designed Asker for private grounds, parks and architectural projects such as driveways, hotel gardens and restaurant forecourts. The plain form without ornament suits modern, minimalist architecture.
