Lillehammer 2282GR is an outdoor wall light with a compact, box-shaped body of cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016). The light opening is closed by clear safety glass, and a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland keep it sealed.
Dimensions and mounting on a facade
The fitting is 18.5 cm high and 8 cm wide, and it stands 11 cm out from the wall — figures to compare with the space beside a door or on a pillar. It is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm apart.
It is a class I fitting, so it needs a protective earth, and connecting it is a job for an electrician. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 1.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next fitting, and the gland seals a cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. Because of the inrush current, the manufacturer also states how many fittings one circuit can carry: 46 on a B10 breaker, 74 on B16 or C10 and 119 on C16 — worth checking before choosing the breaker for a longer row along a facade.
What light it gives
Light leaves only downwards, at a 60° angle, and none goes above the fitting (ULOR 0%), so it does not glare or brighten the night sky. The fitting delivers 115 lm of neutral white 4000 K light at CRI 80 and 4.5 W — light for picking out part of a wall and marking an entrance, not for lighting a whole driveway.
The source is an integrated LED module with an electronic driver built into the fitting. Control is via DALI2, so the light can be dimmed and programmed from a DALI installation; an ordinary phase dimmer will not control it.
Durability and versions
The IP65 rating means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the light can hang on a wall exposed to rain. IK08 refers to the impact resistance of the housing. The Lillehammer 2282 series also comes in other colours, including black, white, aluminium and corten steel.
