Outdoor wall light NORLYS Lillehammer 5030BL black RAL 9005 LED 7.3 W 4000 K

Lillehammer 5030BL is an outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular box of powder-coated cast aluminium in black (RAL 9005). Panes of optical safety glass are set into the top and bottom faces, and two LED modules shine through them in narrow beams up and down.

Size and installation

The fitting is 18.5 cm tall and 8 cm wide, projects 11 cm from the wall and weighs 1.75 kg. It fixes through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 3×2.5 mm² and let the supply loop through to the next fitting with cable up to 3×1.5 mm², so a row of wall lights along a facade can run from one line. The gland accepts a round-sheathed cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter.

The luminaire is protection class I, so the earth conductor must be connected. The manufacturer specifies that installation and servicing are carried out by a suitably qualified person.

What light it gives

Each of the two LED modules emits a 4° beam, one upwards and one downwards – the wall shows two narrow, sharp streaks rather than a pool lighting the surroundings. The modules produce 1069 lm in total, but such a narrow optic lets 31 lm out of the fitting at 7.3 W. It is a light for accenting a facade, not for lighting a path or an entrance. 4000 K is a neutral white.

The fitting is phase-dimmable and needs a trailing-edge (TE) dimmer. The light source is integrated: the LED modules and the driver are replaced by a professional service, and the manufacturer offers the ZS5030zx0017 service kit for them. Module lifetime is over 102,000 h to L80 (over 52,600 h to L90), and the driver is rated for 50,000 h.

Where it fits

IP65 means the housing is dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK08 means resistance to an impact of 5 J. The manufacturer designed it for lighting wall surfaces and facades: several units at even spacing draw a rhythm of vertical lines across a building front – on the walls of houses, hotels and restaurants, by balconies and terraces. The plain black body without ornament is a modern, minimalist form. Model 5030 also comes in other colours, including graphite, white and light grey.
