Lillehammer DC1582CS Rust-Colored Outdoor Wall Sconce by NORLYS

Lillehammer DC1582CS is an outdoor wall light with a compact, cuboid body measuring 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm and weighing 1.6 kg. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in a corten steel shade, and a clear safety-glass pane closes the light aperture. The manufacturer describes it as a wall luminaire for lighting surfaces: walls, facades and architectural details.

Without a power supply it will not light

This is the 24 V DC version: the built-in LED module needs an external, voltage-stabilised power supply that the manufacturer does not include. The luminaire is safety class III, so it runs on extra-low voltage — it is not wired straight into a 230 V installation.

Dimming happens on the supply side: the LED module is built for it, and the method of control is chosen together with the power supply, according to the design of the installation. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and loop-through to the next fitting up to 2 × 1.5 mm²; round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter.

How it lights

Light leaves on one side only, downward, in a 60° beam. The module draws 3.6 W and the luminaire delivers 115 lm — little next to an old 60 W bulb, which corresponds to roughly 800 lm, because a fitting like this is there to pick out a section of wall rather than light a whole yard.

3000 K is warm white, and Ra 80 is colour rendering that is adequate outdoors. ULOR is 0 % and the BUG classification reads B0-U0-G0: the luminaire sends no light upward.

Mounting and durability

The fitting is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm, following the instructions packed with it. IP65 means fully dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK08 is the mechanical impact resistance that counts on a wall reachable from ground level.

Sealing is by a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland. The LED module is replaceable, but only by a professional service; the manufacturer lists a maintenance kit and a service set for this fitting as separate articles.
