The Lot O428WL-L20W3K is an outdoor wall light shaped as a white aluminium bar 30 cm long. Its lower edge is luminous along the whole length, and the source is a built-in LED module. The body is plain, without ornament, with a rectangular cross-section.
How big the fitting is and how it mounts
The bar is 30 cm long, projects 12 cm from the wall and stands 5.5 cm high, so it occupies a strip of wall about the size of an open hand. It weighs 1.45 kg and mounts on the surface, straight onto the substrate, with nothing recessed into the wall.
The fitting is protection class I, so it has to be connected to wiring with an earth conductor. The supply range covers 110 to 240 V AC, so it runs on an ordinary 230 V circuit.
What light the Lot gives
The built-in LED module draws 20 W and gives 700 lm at 3000 K, a warm white with a slightly yellow cast. Colour rendering is Ra 80. That is enough light for a section of facade or a walkway along the house, not for a whole yard.
The manufacturer states a 300 degree beam angle, so the fitting does not gather the light into a narrow cone but spreads it up, down and sideways along the wall. The fitting is not dimmable, and the LED module cannot be replaced: the manufacturer rates it at 50,000 hours, which sets the life of the whole lamp.
Outdoors all year
An IP65 rating means a dust-tight housing that withstands water jets from any direction, so the fitting can stay on an unsheltered wall with no overhang above it. The manufacturer gives an operating range of -40 to +50 degrees Celsius.
The housing is aluminium finished in white. The manufacturer covers the fitting with a five-year warranty. The Lot series offers the same bar in graphite as well, and in a shorter, lower-power version.
