LUMINES FINO is a black lacquered aluminium LED profile designed to finish ceramic tile edges. This version measures 2.02 m in length. A side flange with triangular perforations sits beneath the tiles, leaving the LED channel at the edge of the tiled surface to form a line of accent lighting.
Plan the edge before laying the tiles
FINO is bonded underneath ceramic tiles during installation. Its perforated flange is embedded in the tile adhesive, rather than fastened over a completed wall. The position of the lighting channel therefore needs to be considered as part of the tiling layout, not as a finishing decision made after all the tiles are in place.
The overall cross-section is 33.5 mm wide and 11.6 mm high. Compare these measurements with the proposed tile build-up and edge detail before choosing the profile. The manufacturer's specified length for this variant is 2020 mm; the 2 m designation used in some summaries refers to the same length option.
Matching the strip and system components
The channel accepts LED strips up to 12 mm wide. FINO works with the milky polycarbonate TERRA diffuser, which presses into place from above, and end caps with a cable opening. Check that the chosen components are specified for FINO rather than selecting them on colour or length alone.
The power supply is positioned outside the profile. Plan its location and the cable route before covering the flange with tiles. The manufacturer describes IP54 protection in conjunction with the sealing TERRA diffuser; that rating should not be read as a protection claim for the open aluminium channel on its own.
A dark linear detail
The black lacquered finish creates a dark border at the tile edge. Its plain section suits modern and minimalist detailing without introducing a decorative lamp body. FINO is intended for accent lighting along the tiled finish. The chosen LED strip determines the light colour and output, not the black colour of the profile.
