This silver lacquered LUMINES MONO end cap finishes an LED profile installed in plasterboard construction. Variant 12-1285-01 is made from ABS plastic, with a hole in its front section for routing the power cable.
Choose the cap by its profile system
It is a system-specific accessory, not a universal closure for any aluminium channel. Check that the profile you are using is MONO before ordering. The wide, flat section follows the shape of the recessed profile, while the upright section closes the channel at the end of the run.
The manufacturer identifies this plastic version as universal with respect to the fitting side. There is no separate left or right version to choose, unlike the aluminium end caps in this family. Its silver finish is lacquer applied to ABS; the cap itself is not aluminium.
Push-fit installation and cable exit
The cap presses into the profile. Its cable hole provides an exit at the end of the lighting line. This is a finishing accessory rather than a complete luminaire: a lighting assembly requires the profile and light-producing and power-supply components selected for the project. The MONO assembly diagram shows the cap with a profile, BASIC diffuser, LED strip and connector. That diagram does not mean those components are supplied with this item.
