LUMINES RETO surface-mounted LED profile, anodized inox, 2.02 m Special Offer

LUMINES RETO in anodized inox is an aluminium surface-mounted profile for furniture lighting. Variant 10-0523-20 measures 2020 mm, or 2.02 m, in length. Its flat, gently rounded cross-section has a height of 8 mm.

A light line without routing the furniture

RETO mounts onto the surface rather than fitting into a routed channel. This makes it an option when planning lighting on existing cabinets and shelves without cutting a groove in the furniture board. The manufacturer's installation diagrams show fixing with screws and double-sided tape. Choose the mounting method to suit the supporting surface and the furniture design.

Before choosing its position, compare the 54.9 mm profile width with the available area beneath a cabinet or on a shelf. A shallow profile is not necessarily a narrow one. When setting out a continuous run, use this variant's actual length of 2.02 m rather than the rounded two-metre description. The measurement matters when coordinating the profile with the dimensions of existing furniture.

BASIC covers and light direction

The RETO system works with BASIC covers and dedicated end caps. LED strips sit to the sides rather than directly beneath the cover. This arrangement supports a continuous light line within a shallow cross-section; the finished appearance also depends on the chosen strip and cover.

End caps with 15° or 30° supports change the profile's position and therefore its light direction. This is a system-component choice, not adjustment through a movable lamp head. When planning the assembly, select the LED strip, suitable BASIC cover, RETO end caps and a power supply positioned outside the profile.

For cabinets and domestic storage

The manufacturer specifies furniture use, including kitchens and household storage compartments. Suitable projects include lighting beneath kitchen cabinets, on shelves and within wardrobe furniture. Its unadorned contour supports a modern, minimalist installation. Inox describes the anodized finish on the aluminium; it does not mean that the profile body is made from stainless steel.
