LUMINES SUBLI 10-0554-10 is a 1 m anodised silver aluminium profile for recessed installation in plasterboard constructions. Its channel accommodates two LED strips running side by side. Lateral flanges are incorporated into the surrounding finish, making the lighting run part of the wall or ceiling rather than a projecting fixture.
Allow for the profile before closing the ceiling
The cross-section measures 53.4 mm across its full width and 27.5 mm in height. Compare these dimensions with the planned construction before preparing the opening. This particular article is the 1000 mm version; other lengths in the SUBLI range are separate variants.
The manufacturer's diagrams show mounting springs and plaster finishing around the flanges. A compatible cover closes the channel on the room side. The fixing arrangement therefore needs to be considered alongside the plasterboard layers and finishing work, rather than after the ceiling has been completed.
Choose components for the SUBLI system
Compatible parts include DOUBLE covers, the DOUBLE raster, SUBLI end caps and dedicated connectors. Straight and angled connectors support planned lighting shapes, including transitions between a wall and ceiling. Select accessories for the SUBLI system and the intended route. The exploded assembly drawing explains how the parts work together; it does not establish that every illustrated component is included with this profile.
The aluminium body alone does not determine brightness or colour temperature. Those depend on the selected LED strips and cover. The power supply sits outside the profile, so its position should be included in the electrical layout.
A light line within the architecture
The plain rectangular form and recessed installation suit modern and minimalist interiors. SUBLI provides a basis for main or decorative lighting within plasterboard walls and ceilings, including kitchen, living-room and office constructions. The finished appearance and light output belong to the complete assembly, not to the silver profile in isolation.
