LUMINES DOUBLE PMMA opal diffuser for LED profiles, 1 m

The LUMINES DOUBLE PMMA 1 m opal diffuser is a flat cover for compatible LED profiles. Article 11-2071-10 identifies the one-metre PMMA version, not the polycarbonate option or the separate frosted-milky finish. Its white surface closes the open side of the profile through which the LED strip emits light.

Choose by profile system, not length alone

DOUBLE names a family of covers rather than a complete light fitting. The manufacturer lists this cover for SILEDA, inSILEDA, DILEDA, inDILEDA, UNICO and DOPIO. The compatibility table also includes HIRO, PLATO, TALIA, inTALIA, ZATI, SUBLI, LOGI, CONVA, TOPO, PERO, VEDA, MOTTA, DULIO, FIXO and GEMI.

Check your profile's system name against that selection before ordering. A shared one-metre length does not make the cover suitable for every profile: the opening and retaining geometry must also match. DOUBLE should not be treated as interchangeable with the distinct DOUBLE FLEX family.

Allow for the cover when planning brightness

The current LUMINES catalogue gives the opal DOUBLE PMMA a light transmittance of 42%, with a stated test-result tolerance of ±5%. This describes the cover itself, not a finished lighting installation. It is not a lumen rating or an LED-strip wattage. Assess the diffuser together with the selected strip and profile when planning the required light output.

The opal finish differs from transparent and frosted DOUBLE variants. A continuous-looking line also depends on LED spacing and the strip's position inside the profile, so the cover alone cannot guarantee that individual LED points will be invisible.

A component, not a complete luminaire

This item is the diffuser, not a profile supplied with an LED strip and power supply. Those components are selected separately for the installation. Room suitability, water protection and electrical performance belong to the complete system; the PMMA cover does not establish them on its own.
