LUMINES SUBLI 10-0555-20 is a black lacquered aluminium LED profile for recessing into plasterboard construction. This section is 2020 mm long, or 2.02 m rather than an exact two metres. Its channel accommodates two parallel LED strips, each up to 12 mm wide, giving the lighting design space for two strips instead of one.
Allow for the full cross section
The profile measures 53.4 mm across its full width, including the side flanges, and 27.5 mm in overall height. The internal channel is 25 mm wide. Compare these measurements with the planned construction before preparing the opening: the full flange width and the space for LED strips are different measurements.
Mounting springs locate the profile in the plasterboard structure, while its edges are intended to be plastered over. Areas designated for filling are left unlacquered, so the black finish does not cover every surface. This is an intentional manufacturer-described feature, relevant both when examining the product photograph and when planning the finishing work.
Select the matching system components
SUBLI works with DOUBLE diffusers, including clear, opal, frosted and black versions, or the DOUBLE raster. The diffuser is a separate design choice from the colour of the profile. The system also provides end caps and straight or angled connectors. Dedicated connectors allow the lighting line to continue between wall and ceiling. The power supply sits outside the profile, so the layout needs a separate location for it.
A recessed line for architectural lighting
The system can form main or decorative lighting in walls and ceilings. For a kitchen, living room, office or corridor, choose the strips and diffuser around the purpose of the complete installation. The straight, recessed form suits modern and minimalist schemes. The profile alone does not determine colour temperature, brightness or control; these depend on the selected LED components.
