Focus LED TR103-1-12W3K-M-B is a black spotlight for a magnetic track, with an aluminium body. The cylindrical head, 44 mm in diameter, hangs on a joint below an elongated track adapter, and the LED module is built in permanently — there is no bulb to replace.

Which track it fits

The spotlight belongs to the Radity magnetic system and runs on 48 V. That is the first thing to check before buying: it cannot be fitted to an ordinary 230 V track — single-, two- or three-circuit — either mechanically or electrically. The luminaire is the spotlight alone, so the Radity track and the system power supply are separate items.

The low voltage means protection class III, i.e. a safety extra-low-voltage supply. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry interiors.

How much light and what kind

Drawing 12 W, the spotlight delivers 1000 lm, and its 36° beam angle concentrates that light in a narrow cone. From a track mounted 2 m above the floor or a worktop it lights a circle about 1.3 m across, so it is suited to accenting a picture, a shelf or a table rather than lighting a whole room evenly.

At 3000 K the light is warm white, and a colour rendering index of Ra 90 means wood, fabrics and food keep their true colours under it. The fitting is not dimmable — brightness is set by how many spotlights are switched on. The manufacturer states a module life of 50,000 hours and declares energy efficiency class G.

Dimensions, adjustment and use

The adapter is 115 mm long, the whole fitting reaches 133 mm below the track, and it weighs 0.17 kg. The head rotates 360° around its axis and tilts through 90°, so the beam can point down, at a wall or along the track. For the Focus LED series the manufacturer offers a Honeycomb anti-glare mesh separately.
