Maytoni Gilbert T532CL-08B black ceiling light, 8×E27 Promo Code - MAY20 until the end of Oct 31

The Maytoni Gilbert T532CL-08B is a black ceiling light with eight exposed E27 lampholders. Its metal arms turn through right angles and extend in several directions from a round ceiling canopy. There are no decorative shades to hide the lamps: the bulbs and the routing of the tubular frame form part of the finished appearance.

A wide frame with a fixed ceiling drop

The fitting measures 87 cm wide, 59 cm long and 25.2 cm high. It does not hang from a long suspension cable, so its structural drop is fixed. When checking the available space, compare the full outline of the arms with the ceiling area rather than looking only at the small central canopy. The eight lampholders occupy a broad footprint.

Gilbert can provide a visible central feature in a living room, bedroom or dining room. Above a dining table, consider the ceiling height as well as the width of the frame. This fitting does not bring the bulbs closer to the tabletop on a long pendant suspension. Its position and proportions should therefore be assessed against the actual room.

Choose the lamps as a coordinated set

Each E27 lampholder accepts a bulb rated up to 60 W. This is a limit for each individual lamp, not a statement of the fitting's fixed electricity consumption. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulbs selected; the frame itself does not specify one fixed light output or light colour.

With the lamps exposed, bulb shape is worth considering alongside the electrical and lighting specifications. Clear bulbs with visible filaments can reinforce the industrial character of the frame. The bulbs pictured in the gallery do not establish a particular supplied bulb set. Maytoni lists this fitting as non-dimmable.

Black steel and angular lines

The open steel construction suits industrial and loft interiors, while its geometric layout also works alongside modernist furnishings. A hotel bedroom or restaurant dining area can use it in the same general ceiling-lighting role, provided the dimensions and selected lamps suit the space. The manufacturer's instructions show ceiling attachment using a mounting bar. There is no crystal shade or enclosed diffuser to become an additional decorative layer around the lamps.
