MiBoxer PR2 MONO/CCT LED strip controller, 12–48 V DC, 20 A, 2.4 GHz RF

MiBoxer PR2 is a radio receiver and LED strip controller with two output modes: MONO and CCT. Its elongated white housing has screw terminals at both ends. The SET button selects the operating mode that matches the connected strip.

Choose the mode to match the strip

MONO mode adjusts the brightness of single-colour lighting. CCT mode is for a strip with warm-white and cool-white channels, allowing both brightness and colour temperature to be changed. PR2 is not an RGB controller. A red indicator identifies single-colour operation, while green identifies dual-white operation.

The controller connects between a suitable power supply and the LED strip in a constant-voltage installation operating at 12–48 V DC. The supply voltage must match the strip's requirements: the receiver's input range does not mean that any strip can run at 48 V. The combined load across all outputs must not exceed 20 A, including when both channels are used. Check the intended lighting load before selecting the components.

Remote control, a push button or a gateway

Compatible Mi-Light and MiBoxer remotes communicate with PR2 over 2.4 GHz radio. The manufacturer specifies a 30 m control distance, with installation conditions affecting the actual range. A push button can be connected to the PUSH input. A short press switches the light on or off; a long press adjusts brightness. The remote and push button are selected separately.

App and voice-assistant operation requires a compatible 2.4 GHz gateway. PR2 does not replace that gateway. When Do Not Disturb mode is enabled and the light was previously switched off through its controls, it remains off after a single interruption and restoration of power.

Allow space for the controller

The housing measures 119 × 47 × 23 mm. Compare these dimensions and the planned cable routing with the available installation space. The manufacturer identifies home and hotel lighting as applications. The strip and light fittings determine the decorative appearance, rather than an interior style assigned to this receiver. Disconnect power before installation. Large metal surfaces and strong electromagnetic interference can reduce radio range.
