Nordlux Hollywood 46645000 clear glass table lamp, E27

The Nordlux Hollywood 46645000 table lamp has a cylindrical clear-glass body covered in a regular diamond pattern. Its bulb sits exposed above the glass rather than inside a shade, making the bulb's shape part of the overall design. This clear version has an E27 socket and a black cable.

Allow space above the glass body

The body measures 12.8 cm high and 10.8 cm in diameter. These dimensions help you assess the footprint on a side table or chest of drawers, but they do not describe the complete lamp once a bulb has been fitted. Allow extra height to suit the bulb you choose. Glass is the main material; Nordlux identifies plastic as the secondary material.

The faceted surface gives the base a defined geometric texture instead of a smooth glass outline. It is not an enclosing lampshade, so the bulb remains visible from above and from the sides. Consider its position relative to eye level when deciding where to place it, particularly beside a bed.

Choose the light source separately

There is one E27 socket, with a maximum bulb rating of 60 W. No bulb is included. The illuminated globe in the photographs demonstrates a possible combination rather than an item supplied with the lamp. Brightness, light colour and bulb shape therefore depend on your selection. Compare bulb lumen ratings when choosing brightness: the 60 W limit is an electrical rating, not a statement of this lamp's light output.

The black cable has a textile surface, measures 180 cm and carries the on/off switch. Nordlux states that dimming is possible with a compatible bulb. This does not establish that the cable switch itself is a dimmer.

A geometric accent for indoor tables

Hollywood's diamond pattern relates to Art Deco glass decoration and can also work as an accent within glamour or retro schemes. Its small base allows placement on a living-room side table, bedside table or restaurant table. A hotel room offers the same kind of decorative use. The lamp is intended for indoor use, not outdoor placement. Before choosing its position, check the space available for both the base and bulb, together with the cable route to your socket.
