Nordlux Pop 45841009 Adjustable Wall Light, Beige, E27

Nordlux Pop 45841009 is a beige wall light with a bell-shaped metal shade, a round wall plate and a brass detail at the joint. Designed by Sebastian Holmbäck, it pairs a matt finish with a movable lamp head. The open shade can be directed towards a chosen part of the room rather than remaining in one fixed position.

Direct the light beside a bed or sofa

The head tilts through up to 90° and turns through up to 320°, allowing its direction to follow your sitting or reclining position. Nordlux identifies bedside, sofa-side and above-counter kitchen placements. For reading, the bulb matters too: the shape of the fitting does not establish its brightness. Position the head with your viewing angle in mind so the light source is not directly in your line of sight.

The light is 20 cm high and its shade is 15.5 cm in diameter. The drawing also gives an 11 cm diameter for the wall plate. Compare these measurements with a headboard, shelf or proposed mounting area, and leave room for the shade to move when you adjust it.

Select a bulb and connection method

One E27 socket accepts a bulb rated at a maximum of 18 W. The bulb is not included, so brightness and light colour are separate choices. The manufacturer specifies that the fitting is not dimmable; buying a dimmable bulb alone does not establish support for brightness adjustment.

Use the supplied 150 cm white cable with its inline switch, or connect the light directly to a wall outlet. Before mounting, check the cable route to the socket and whether the switch will remain reachable. Wall-mounting screws are excluded according to the instructions.

A restrained beige accent

The matt shade, round base and small metallic detail suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors. Pop adds directional side lighting to a room's lighting plan; whether additional room lighting is needed depends on the space and the chosen bulb.
