NORLYS Alta 1476BL is a black garden bollard, 49 cm tall and 15 cm in diameter. Its cylindrical body has a head formed by stacked shields, with light emerging between them. The steel is hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated in RAL 9005, while the milky diffuser is made from PMMA plastic.
Light around the bollard
The fitting distributes light with rotational symmetry and screens it from above. This provides lighting around the bollard for a garden, terrace, driveway or street route. Its height of 49 cm can be compared with the planting and paving at the proposed installation position.
The integrated LED produces warm white light at 3000 K. The complete fitting delivers 146 lm: this is the light leaving the diffuser and shields, rather than the brightness of the LED module before those components are taken into account. Compare this figure with other bollards' fitting outputs when planning the lighting of an outdoor area.
Dimming and replacing the light source
The complete fitting draws 8.5 W and includes an LED module and electronic driver. It can be phase dimmed using Trailing Edge control, so the installation controls need to suit that method of regulation. There is no separate bulb to buy. Replacement of the LED module and control gear is intended for a professional service technician.
The shielded head and plain cylindrical body support Scandinavian and modern settings. The bollard can form part of a garden lighting scheme or lighting for outdoor hotel and restaurant areas. IP65 provides protection against dust and water jets, appropriate for use outdoors.
Ground fixing and electrical connection
The base is secured through three holes of 9 mm diameter, spaced at 120° on a 65 mm circle. Anchors and mounting adapters are sold separately and selected to suit the prepared surface. The terminals accept conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², with loop-through wiring up to 2 × 2.5 mm². The class II fitting has double insulation. Installation and servicing require a suitably qualified person.
