The Asker Small Pro 5151GR is a rectangular outdoor wall light in cast aluminium, powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016). The body is 22.5 cm wide and 11 cm high and projects 8.5 cm from the wall. Light leaves only through the bottom, via a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser that is UV-stabilised.
What light it gives
Drawing 5.4 W, the fitting delivers 444 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white, with CRI 80. That is roughly half the brightness of an old 60 W bulb — enough to light a strip of wall and the ground below the fitting rather than a whole garden. The distribution is semi-spherical and aimed downwards, and nothing goes up (ULOR 0%), so the light does not reach the sky or the windows above.
The wall light is dimmable, but it needs a trailing-edge (TE) phase dimmer.
Installation and durability
The fitting is screwed to the wall through two ø4.5 mm holes on a 180 × 60 mm pattern. The terminals take cable up to 3 × 2.5 mm², or up to 3 × 1.5 mm² when several fittings are looped together, and the gland suits round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. It is a protection class I fitting, so it must be connected to the protective earth.
IP65 means it is dust-tight and protected against water jets, so it can hang on a facade without a canopy. IK08 is the impact rating, and the fitting weighs 1.34 kg. Norlys designed it for lighting walls and facades.
Lifetime and service
The LED module and the driver are replaced by a professional service, and Norlys offers the ZS5151zx0009 service kit for this fitting, so a failed light source does not mean replacing the whole wall light. Norlys rates the module at L90 above 64,000 hours, meaning it still gives at least 90% of its initial output after that time, and the driver at 50,000 hours.
