NORLYS Energy Distributor 2900CB garden power post, 2 × 16 A type E sockets, 49 cm, copper brown RAL 8004

NORLYS Power Distributor 2900CB is an outdoor power post with two electrical sockets, not a garden light. Its extruded aluminium body has a copper-brown powder-coated finish in RAL 8004. Black socket covers contrast with the straight edges of the rectangular housing.

Two connections at a single location

The type E (UNI) sockets sit side by side near the top of the post. They provide connection points for two devices in the same place, rather than requiring a separate power location for each. Before choosing this version, check that the plugs you intend to use match the socket type and that the devices remain within the stated load limits.

The sockets have a stated rating of 16 A, but the installation manual limits each socket to a maximum load of 1800 W. Use that power limit when planning connections; the current marking alone does not permit a higher connected load. The supply voltage is 220–240 V and the unit has electrical protection class I.

A 49 cm post for outdoor placement

Overall dimensions are 14 × 12 × 49 cm. This is the 49 cm version, rather than the shorter 2901 from the same family. Allow space around the socket face for opening the covers, inserting plugs and routing cables. The housing is rated IP54, and the manufacturer specifies outdoor use in gardens, on terraces or by parking areas.

The plain rectangular body suits modern and minimalist settings. Copper brown describes the coating, not a copper construction: the underlying body is aluminium. This distinction matters when comparing the finish with other outdoor equipment.

Prepare the mounting separately

The base uses four 7 mm mounting holes on a 64 × 64 mm pattern. Mounting screws are not included. The NORLYS 2934 concreting anchor is a separately sold accessory; select the mounting method for the surface according to the installation manual. Electrical connection and servicing require a suitably qualified person.
