The Energy Distributor 2901CB is a low garden power post: a 25 cm high aluminium block, 12 × 12 cm in section, with two 230 V sockets on the front. The extruded aluminium profile is powder-coated in copper brown (RAL 8004). The post has no light source; it is there to bring mains power out into the garden or to a terrace.
Sockets and wiring
The front carries two type E (Uni) 16 A sockets with an earth pin and flip covers. Type E is the standard in France, Belgium, Poland and Czechia; in countries using type F (Schuko), plugs with the hybrid CEE 7/7 contact, which most appliances ship with, fit type E, while pure CEE 7/4 Schuko plugs without a hole for the earth pin do not. The sockets stand proud of the body, making the post 14 cm deep.
The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next post at the same cross-section. The gland takes cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The post is protection class I and must be connected to the protective earth; the connection is for a qualified electrician.
Mounting and durability
The base fixes with four bolts through ø7 mm holes spaced 64 × 64 mm. For setting it into the ground the manufacturer offers concrete anchor 2934ZX0009, sold separately. IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any direction. The post weighs 2.02 kg. The same series includes the taller 2900 at 49 cm.
