NORLYS Lillehammer DC1581GR is a graphite outdoor wall light with upward and downward illumination. Its rectangular body is made from powder-coated aluminium in RAL 7016, with optical safety-glass covers. This is the low-voltage version: it requires an external constant-voltage 24 V DC power supply and must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply.
Two beams across the wall
Two LED modules with a combined power of 7.2 W produce warm-white 3000 K light. The beam angle is 60° in each direction, above and below the fitting. This distribution highlights the wall on both sides of the body rather than sending all the light towards the ground. The manufacturer specifies the model for illuminating walls, façades and other architectural features.
The complete luminaire delivers 231 lm. This is different from the 1064 lm produced by the LED sources themselves. When planning the visible result, use the luminaire output together with its two-way distribution rather than treating the source figure as the light leaving the fitting. The modules support dimming; suitable external control must be selected as part of the installation design.
Allow for the fitting and its power supply
The body measures 18.5 cm high, 11 cm wide and 8 cm deep. Two 5 mm mounting holes have a spacing of 45 × 130 mm. Compare these measurements with the available wall area before ordering, and plan the location of the separate power supply and cable route. Installation and servicing must be carried out by an appropriately qualified professional following the supplied instructions.
A plain graphite architectural detail
The flat front and absence of decorative trim suit modern, minimalist and Scandinavian exterior schemes. The fitting is rated IP65 and IK08. Its construction includes a silicone seal and EPDM cable gland; maintaining the sealed connection depends on correct installation. LED-source replacement is a professional servicing task, rather than a routine bulb change for the user.
