Lofoten 2013BL is a double pole-top luminaire: two rectangular clear-glass lanterns hung from a horizontal crossbar, made of powder-coated steel in black (RAL 9005). It fits onto the top of a 50 mm diameter pole — the pole itself is not part of this article.
Size and pole mounting
The whole luminaire spans 72 cm, and each lantern is 19 cm wide. Compare those 72 cm with the free space around the pole — next to a path, branches or a building wall. Norlys pairs this head with pole art. 3011 in the Lofoten 1947 set; buying the head on its own, the pole and its foundation parts are ordered separately.
It is connected with a 2.4 m H03V2V2H2-F 2×0.75 mm² cable that runs inside the pole to an electrical junction box. The manufacturer's instructions call for installation by a licensed electrician.
Which bulbs and how many
Each lantern has an E27 socket, so you need two bulbs — they are not included. The manufacturer allows LED bulbs of up to 11 W per socket, A55–A60 shape and no longer than 110 mm; a longer bulb will not fit inside the lantern. Colour temperature and brightness are therefore your choice. The glass is clear and does not diffuse the light, so the bulb itself stays visible — worth choosing one whose look suits the lantern.
Outdoor use
IP44 means protection against water splashing from any direction, and Norlys rates the luminaire for outdoor use. Protection class II means double insulation: no earth conductor is needed. It runs on 230 V. The manufacturer describes the Lofoten series as a simple, classic form for lighting gardens, parks and the areas around buildings.
