Nowodvorski CAMELEON EYE L 8484 lampshade, solid brass, 40 cm

The Nowodvorski CAMELEON EYE L 8484 is a slim cylindrical shade made from solid brass for the configurable CAMELEON lighting system. Its plain metal tube has a brass finish and an opening underneath. You are choosing a separate shade, not a complete pendant light supplied with a cable, ceiling canopy and bulb.

Allow for the shade and the suspension

This version measures 40 cm high and 5.5 cm wide. These are the dimensions of the shade itself, not the distance of a completed fitting from the ceiling. Include the selected suspension and canopy when planning the position of the bottom edge, and compare the resulting arrangement with the space beneath it.

The narrow cylinder can form part of individual pendants in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining area. Its simple geometry suits modern, modernist and industrial interiors. When assembling several elements, plan their spacing around the actual surface you want to illuminate. Shade width alone does not establish the spread of light.

Choose matching CAMELEON parts separately

The manufacturer specifies one CAMELEON CABLE GU10 suspension and an LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. The cable with lamp holder, compatible CAMELEON canopy and bulb must be selected separately. The instructions restrict this shade to cables and canopies from that system; a similar-looking part from another range does not establish compatibility.

Light colour, brightness and beam angle depend on the bulb you choose. A photograph of a lit assembly illustrates one combination, not the package contents or a guaranteed result with every bulb. The 10 W limit is a compatibility restriction rather than a lumen rating.

Natural variation in solid brass

Brass is the shade's material, not simply its colour name. The manufacturer notes that oxidation and processing can cause small differences in shade and slight surface irregularities. Allow for those characteristics when coordinating several brass components. This shade is intended for indoor use.
