Nowodvorski CAMELEON POLY M 8474 white lampshade

The Nowodvorski CAMELEON POLY M 8474 is a white painted-aluminium shade for building a CAMELEON lighting arrangement. Its narrow, faceted body has flat sides and an open lower end. This is a system component, not a complete pendant light with a cable.

Choose the matching components first

The package contains the shade and assembly instructions. Nowodvorski specifies one CAMELEON CABLE GU10 pendant cable and an LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. The cable assembly, CAMELEON canopy and bulb must be selected separately. The manual restricts use to CAMELEON cables and canopies: a GU10 bulb base alone does not make the shade compatible with an arbitrary pendant fitting.

Choose colour temperature, brightness and beam angle through the appropriate bulb. The illuminated photograph illustrates an assembled arrangement; it does not show extra components included with this shade.

The 10 W limit is the maximum permitted bulb wattage, not a fixed consumption figure. Actual consumption depends on the bulb fitted to the complete assembly.

Shade height is not the suspension length

The aluminium body measures 25 cm high and 5.5 cm wide. These dimensions do not describe the distance from the ceiling to the finished light. When planning a single pendant or a group, allow separately for the chosen cables and the space between shades.

White finish with defined edges

Article 8474 has the White P001 RAL 9003 finish. Vertical edges distinguish it from a smooth round tube and support a modern, geometric composition. It is an indoor lighting component. In a bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen or hallway, its actual lighting role depends on the correctly matched complete assembly, not on the shade alone.
