Nowodvorski EDESA LED S 9111 white outdoor ceiling light 3 W 3000 K

Nowodvorski EDESA LED S 9111 is a white outdoor ceiling light built around a narrow cylindrical body. Painted aluminium, glass in front of the light source and a dark ring around the lower opening give it a simple tubular outline rather than an extended shade or decorative arms.

Check the space below the mounting surface

The body is 11 cm high and 5.5 cm wide. Compare those measurements with the intended position before arranging the electrical outlet. This is a surface-mounted fitting: its cylinder remains visible below the ceiling rather than being recessed into it. The height matters when deciding how far the fitting will project beneath a canopy or roof overhang.

The manufacturer's outdoor designation and IP54 rating support planning it into a covered terrace, balcony, gazebo or entrance. Beneath an eave beside a facade, it provides a downward-facing light point. The same arrangement can serve a hotel entrance or covered restaurant terrace, but a single compact fitting should not be confused with a lighting plan for the whole outdoor area.

Warm white light in a focused beam

The integrated LED is rated at 3 W, with 250 lm output and a colour temperature of 3000 K. There is no separate bulb to choose: warm white is a fixed characteristic of this version. Its 30° beam directs light into a limited area rather than spreading it broadly through an opal shade.

When laying out several fittings, consider their mounting height and spacing together. Both affect the size of the illuminated areas and where the beams overlap. Use the lumen rating and beam distribution alongside the dimensions of the area, rather than judging the required number of lights from wattage alone.

Simple geometry and the supplied parts

The plain white cylinder suits modern and minimalist architecture with repeated straight lines. EDESA S uses direct surface mounting and a 220–230 V supply. The package contains the fitting, instructions and a mounting kit. Electrical installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person; the small housing does not alter that requirement.
