Nowodvorski SET 8900 surface-mounted ceiling spotlight, black, 1×GU10

Nowodvorski SET 8900 is a single-lamp ceiling spotlight with a black cylindrical body made from painted steel. A movable lamp ring sits within its circular opening, allowing the light to be aimed while the outer cylinder stays fixed to the ceiling.

A compact cylinder with directional adjustment

The fitting is 12 cm high and 10.5 cm wide. It is a surface-mounted design, so the body remains below the ceiling rather than disappearing into a recess. Check that projection against the available space and plan around the position of the electrical outlet. The installation drawing shows the mounting plate fixed directly to the ceiling, not to a lighting track.

The inner ring provides 45° of tilt and 350° of rotation. This lets you direct the light towards a selected area, such as a work surface, wall or display. In a kitchen, hallway or living room, SET can supplement other lighting with a directed light point. The number and spacing of fittings should follow the room layout and the specifications of the lamps you choose.

Choose the replaceable lamp separately

This version takes one GU10 R50 LED lamp rated at no more than 10 W. The lamp is not supplied. Brightness, colour temperature and beam angle therefore depend on the separately purchased light source, rather than being fixed characteristics of the black housing. You can change those characteristics later by replacing the lamp without replacing the entire fitting.

The package contains the luminaire, instructions and a rubber suction cup, illustrated in the assembly guide during lamp installation. A qualified installer should connect the fitting to the 220–230 V supply in accordance with the manufacturer's diagram.

Black finish, restrained detailing

The manufacturer specifies black P013 RAL 9005. Both the outer cylinder and the visible lamp ring have a dark finish. Their simple geometry suits modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors where a compact ceiling detail is preferred to decorative arms or shades. SET 8900 is intended for interior use, not for gardens or positions exposed to water.
