OKIJ by Nova Nook is a round dining table with a 110 cm diameter. Its tabletop and four cylindrical legs share a dark beige, matte finish, giving the table a consistent colour throughout. The manufacturer identifies the material as MDF board.
Allowing space for chairs
The table is 75 cm high and occupies a footprint of 110 × 110 cm. When placing it in a dining room, kitchen or a living room dining area, allow additional space to pull chairs out and walk behind them. The tabletop measurement alone does not describe the whole area needed to use the table.
The manufacturer's drawing shows a 53 cm gap between adjacent legs and a leg diameter of 10.8 cm. Compare those measurements with the width of your chosen chairs, particularly chairs with armrests. Although the round top has no corners, the position of its four supports still matters when arranging seating.
Protecting the matte tabletop
The manufacturer requires protective coasters or placemats and warns against direct contact between wet or hot dishes and the tabletop. Apply this requirement to mugs and serving dishes as well.
A rounded, pared-back design
The smooth top and unornamented legs suit modern and minimalist interiors. Their circular cross-sections echo the outline of the tabletop. This is a four-legged table rather than a table with a central pedestal.
